Batinić, Dajana (Batinić, Dajana) engleski Notes.- Bibliography Confiscated Returned Donated – the Importance of Museum Documentation članak In the text Confiscated/Returned/Donated – the Importance of Museum Documentation, Dajana Batinić, head of the Documentation Department at the Zagreb City Museum, presented the results of the research on the archival materials of the museum from 1941 to 1951, with a focus on documenting acquisitions and the manner in which items entered the museum’s
collection. This category had already existed in the first inventory book of the museum, drawn up in 1907 by the founder of the institution, Emilij Laszowski. The analysis of the terminology used for the acquisition of museum items revealed that, throughout history, various terms had
been used, some of which were associated with ethically unquestionable methods of acquisition, while others referred to unethical acquisitions. During the Pilot Project, 49 items were identified, with the source of acquisition being the Commission for Gathering and Protection of Cultural Monuments and Antiquities, for which, as concluded by Batinić, further research into the records held in the Croatian State Archives and the items themselves should be conducted. "Časopis Muzeologija 61 (2024.) prvi je broj koji je u sedamdeset godina njezina izlaženja posvećen istraživanju provenijencije muzejske građe oduzete tijekom i nakon Drugoga svjetskog rata, razdoblja u kojemu su muzeji, kako ističe jedna od autorica objavljenih istraživanja, postali „instrument u provedbi ideološki motivirane politike prema kulturnoj baštini“ i „skladište za predmete zaplijenjene iz privatnih zbirki“.
Budući da se u većini hrvatskih muzeja sustavno istraživanje provenijencije muzejskih predmeta, posebice onih za koje postoji sumnja da su oduzeti tijekom i nakon rata, uopće nije provodilo ili je to rađeno u nedostatnom opsegu, koncem 2022. godine Ministarstvo kulture i medija RH pokrenulo je u suradnji s Muzejskim dokumentacijskim centrom Pilot-projekt utvrđivanja podrijetla muzejske građe oduzete tijekom i nakon Drugoga svjetskog rata kao „velik i važan prvi korak u ispravljanju nepravdi učinjenih prije više od sedam desetljeća“ koje su se, kako je istaknula ministrica kulture i medija Nina Obuljen Koržinek, godinama negirale.
Neposredan cilj projekta bio je prikupiti postojeću dokumentaciju i izvore o predmetima koji su pohranjivani ili raspoređeni u muzeje na temelju zakona Nezavisne Države Hrvatske, a poslije na osnovi odluka Komisije za sakupljanje i očuvanje kulturnih spomenika i starina (KOMZA-e), koji navode na to da je riječ o nezakonito oduzetoj ili zaplijenjenoj imovini Židova i građana drugih nacionalnosti." /Maja Kocijan)Više na: https://mdc.hr/hr/mdc/publikacije/newsletter/newsletter-18-03-2025#muzeologija Podrijetlo predmeta Hrvatska Library
